Laoxa’s Creative Ground lands at Exale Brewing Taproom, Walthamstow for a vibrant makers market and immersive community experience celebrating London’s independent creatives.

This is not your typical market - it’s a space where creativity, culture, and connection come together.

Discover a curated lineup of small businesses spanning art, design,  handmade goods, homeware, and more.  From handcrafted jewellery and textiles to luxury candles - every stall tells a story.

  • - 🎨 A curated makers market featuring independent creatives - from jewellery, luxury candles, textiles, home decor & more!
  • Immersive experiences: 
  • - 🧶 Contribute to a Community Legacy Rug - Join our hands-on rug tufting workshop and tuft your own section of a collaborative community rug, guided by Laoxa. The finished rug will be displayed at Exale Brewery permanently as part of our legacy project.
  • - Leave a message to your future self - with your permission we’ll  share in our future campaigns.

      Definitely one of the most fun and memorable experiences you can have as a couple! Lucy was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, encouraging, and just genuinely wonderful to be around. Her enthusiasm for rug tufting was contagious and made the whole experience feel exciting from start to finish. She guided us carefully through every single step of the process and even when things got tricky, Lucy was always right there to help and guide us. Despite what I think was a difficult design, the end result was beautiful and I can't wait to put this on my wall.

      Had an amazing time doing this activity as a birthday present for my partner! A good mix of creativity and technical challenge. Lucy is an expert tutor and makes the whole process so fun, from learning the basics to experimenting with more technical techniques . We left at the end with two beautiful rigs! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
