Children welcome with adult supervision 👨👩👧
Minimum age for tufting is 8 years old, with adult supervision required.
Younger children (under 8) can join as design helpers - drawing, choosing colours, and helping prepare artwork (no tufting gun use).
⚡ Please note: Workshops only run with bookings. If there are no bookings, the session will not take place that day.

All yarn, tools, and guidance included. ⚡ Spaces are very limited (max 2 per session). ⚡ Bookings close 3 days before each workshop to allow us to prepare your yarn and materials. Terms & Conditions – Rug Tufting Workshop with Laoxa
1. Artwork Submission & Preparation
To prepare your tufting frame and yarn colours, participants must send their chosen design to info@laoxaltd.com at least 3 days before the workshop.
Designs should be high-resolution (PNG or JPEG). We recommend using 3-5 colours.
If a design is too detailed, Laoxa may suggest edits to make it suitable for tufting.
2. Bookings & Payments
Spaces are limited to 2 participants per workshop.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Bookings close 3 days before each workshop to allow us to prepare yarn and materials.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once purchased.
If Laoxa Ltd needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a transfer to another date or a refund.
4. Health & Safety
Participants must follow all safety instructions when using tufting equipment.
Aprons will be provided, but please wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting messy.
The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks incidental to the workshop. Laoxa Ltd, CRATE St James Street, and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for injury or damage arising from participation.
5. Venue Rules & Admission
Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of CRATE ST James Street.
The venue reserves the right to refuse admission. Security checks may take place to ensure safety.
Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable point, but entry cannot always be guaranteed once the workshop has begun.
6. Children & Age Policy
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Minimum age for using tufting equipment is 8 years old.
7. Liability & Personal Property
Laoxa Ltd, CRATE ST James Street, and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
Smoking is not permitted inside the venue.
8. Ticket Use
Tickets are sold for personal use only. If a ticket is resold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, or DesignMyNight, it may be voided and entry refused.
