Obojima - A Grand Offering

The villagers of Dorrin have managed to carve out a living for themselves, buried in the slopes of Mount Arbora. Harsh, yet survivable living has become second nature to the small group of islanders who reside there.
They also share their mountain residency with Jumaga, the Sky Salamander, one of the three great beasts of Obojima. Islanders from all over Obojima will come to the perilous mountain to lay something at the Ledge of Offering, a site littered with wealth and treasure, hoping to appease Jumaga and be blessed with good fortune.

Recently, one of the resident families has fallen on hard times after the death of their patriarch. They hope placing a beloved family heirloom on the ledge will grant them some much needed good luck. Unfortunately, the mountain is rife with natural dangers, greedy monsters, and the territorial Jumaga itself.

Much like life in Dorrin, nothing is ever easy.

TEN CANDLES: A Tragic Horror TTRPG

10 Candles is a Tragic horror TTRPG, where everyone dies at the end of the game. It is your job to tell the story of how you gave everything to try and survive.

Ten days ago, the world went dark.

It crept in quietly as you slept, oblivious to the fact that anything was wrong, until you woke, and the sun never rose again. Now there’s…nothing. No stars. No moon. Just dark.

Then five days later, They came.

No one knows exactly who or what They are, but when every satellite went out at once, and we were finally all cut off from each other, They began to hunt us, and ‘what’ didn’t really seem important anymore. They’re coming.

If you want to survive, you need to stay in the light.

Light seems to be the one thing that hurts them. So find torches, batteries, generators, candles, don’t starve before you can be rescued, but get in the light.

If you're in the light, you’re safe. If you’re not…I’m so sorry.

Now it’s up to you.

THE STORY

No one’s coming. The radio’s gone dead, and you’re on your own.

Your shelter was only meant to be temporary, but you got comfortable. You had plenty of food and water, plenty of company, and plenty of light. But that generator was old, and when the lights started to flicker for too long, people vanished straight out of the hallways. Now only a few of you remain, huddled close as the lights above you flicker dangerously low. There’s only one option left: Fort Victor. All the chatter on the radio implied it’s a safe haven for humanity. But you’re a good hour away: through the town, over the river and through the woods…literally. So grab what supplies you need before the lights go out, and then, it's time to move.

Great fun if you're into things like Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings or Baldur’s Gate 3. But also really accessible if you've never touched TTRPG's! They explain all the rules as the show goes on - and let the audience decide dice rolls too!
