Suitable for complete beginners, no experience in printing or art necessary!
If you have already attended our beginners print workshop or have some previous experience in Lino printing feel free to bring a design ready to start working on. You can have more time to work detail into your design with additional tuition from artist Reanna Keer-Keer.
Come join us for this low pressure and fun workshop.
Make your own single colour relief prints using linoleum. Lino cutting, a derivative of woodcutting is a printing process in which images are carved from a piece of lino (think kitchen floor tiles). Once the image has been carved into the lino, it is coated with ink and pressed onto paper to create images. You will learn a printing process you can easily continue at home.
You will learn how to design, carve and print creating a print based on either a simple image you bring with you (think plants, birds, buildings, cars for easy inspiration) or we can help you find a design to use on the night.
All materials are provided and you will be able to take home some prints of your image along with your carved lino which you can re use for more prints. The size of the lino used is 100x150mm.

The closest station is a one minute walk away - Deptford station (6 minutes on the train from London Bridge). Please let us know if you need any help getting to the venue from the station/local bus stop.
