Description
Buster Mantis is a Jamaican bar, cafe and creative space that you'll find in the arches below Deptford rail station. The venue - so named after Alexander Bustamante, the country’s first prime minister - comes based in two warehouse units, each offering a slightly different vibe.
You'll need Arch 3 if you're here for the jerk chicken and rum. A base for relaxed drinking and dining, you’ll be able to chow down on authentic marinated meats, as well as a few slightly more obscure and exotic bites. Arch 3 also serves a range of local and international beers, free coffees and a "dangerously strong" house rum punch. You have been warned.
Arch 4 is all about allowing south London’s creative scene to prosper. A canvas for art exhibitions, film screenings, pop-ups and workshops galore, the focus is to allow creative and talented local people the resources to bring something fun and innovative to the table.
