Defying the rules of science, our masterclass brings you a menu of magical cocktail concoctions. Expect bold flavour combinations, unusual ingredients, and a touch of theatre as we explore elements like fire, foam, and dry ice. Under the guidance of our expert mixologist, you’ll learn how to shake up Opium-style cocktails in a fun and interactive session.
For £50 per person package you and your guests will enjoy five cocktails:
- 1 welcome drink on arrival
- 3 signature cocktails from our menu (served as a tasting, same for everyone)
- 1 classic cocktails, which you’ll make yourself with guidance from the bartender
- Upgrade your package to include a Dim Sum platter for only £25 per person (choose one of our platters: Dim Sum, Seafood, or Green). Please request this option on the day.
Throughout the session, your bartender will share the story behind each drink, explain the ingredients, and demonstrate how to use essential bar tools such as shakers, mixing glasses, jiggers, and more.
The masterclass lasts approximately 90 minutes (up to 2 hours for larger groups).
Terms & Conditions
- The cocktail masterclass lasts approximately 90 minutes and is led by one of our bartenders, covering both classic cocktails and Opium-inspired creations.
- A minimum of 4 guests is required for the masterclass to go ahead (smaller groups available on request).
- A £10 deposit per person is required to secure your booking.
- A 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill on the day.
- The remaining balance is payable at the end of the session.
- Any additional food or drinks not included in the package will be added to your final bill.
If you are running late, please let us know. Kindly note that the session will still finish at the scheduled time. If we do not hear from you within 30 minutes of the start time, your booking will be treated as a no-show, cancelled, and the full payment will be charged.
Please note that we are an over-18s venue. Physical ID is required for entry, and we operate a Challenge 25 policy.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made in writing with at least 7 days’ notice will not be charged.
- Cancellations made within 7 days will result in a charge of 50% of the total masterclass cost.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and manager’s discretion.
- For partial cancellations, the full cost of the class (including 12.5% service charge) will be charged per cancelled guest.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
