Cirque Le Soir London - Nightclub Review

Cirque Le Soir London - Nightclub Review

I'd been told that any night at Cirque le Soir is one to indulge in sinful pleasures, with sexy, twisted and downright shocking performances! Hearing this, do you think I could stay away? The Venue Hidden behind an unremarkable black door is a...

One of the more prestige bars I have been to. Very fun night out and very mesmerising. Quirky entertainment especially the cheeky monkey. The aim is Circus theme and I think they nailed it. Would just prefer an actual dance floor area, but good music.

Friend and I were on the guest list. We had dressed well and arrived early. After queuing at least 30mins, Bouncer open the gate and said stand there! Then I realised we weren’t getting in nor did he have any politeness to let us know either. My friend was on holidays for a weekend to see London and it was very late to organise somewhere else. Horrible horrible doormen and staff! Stay away!!!

Cirque le Soir is a concept known world wide. The club has been refurbished and looks less impressive then before but is still one of the most asked clubs in Mayfair at the moment. Expect high prices for tables or drinks, remember, this is Mayfair. If you want 'affordable prices' then look out for some nice places in Shoreditch. Some will say pretentious other will consider it as a great socialising and networking venue because you never know who you will stumble upon to. The concept is created around the Circus artists and as any circus acrobates, some costumes and shows can be revealing and freaky, not everyone's cup of tea but definitely worth it if you look for something different. I am a girl who went yesterday to your so well known club and was impressed, but in the worst of all meanings of the word. It is incredible how people keep on going to such a place where humanitarian values clearly lack. The use of people with disabilities, in this case dwarfism, to make customers laugh at them is completely inadmissible. Imagine you have the down syndrome disease, and you were hired for wearing a funny wig and be dressed in a way that caused people to constantly laugh at you.( due to your physical appearance, which is a source of continuous suffering in a day to day basis) I am really disappointed about this use and manipulation of human beings who have the same rights as you and I, and should not be undervalued in any way. BEING PAID FOR ALLOWING PEOPLE TO LAUGH AT YOUR DISABILITY IS NOT A DECENT JOB AND SHOULD BE STRICTLY BANNED. I would really like to contact the manager or even have the opportunity to speak with someone in order to try to sensibilise people about this issue, which is extremely hurtfull for those suffering the disease.

Very crowded and squashed. Will not be coming back to this place in a hurry. Drinks were a little pricey as well coupled with the busy bar. A good place to go if you would like to spend your evening queuing

Probably the worst night out I've ever had in London, the club itself is small but ok the performers were great if you could see them through the crowd . The key with this place is come with a millionaire or be a millionaire there's no where to sit unless you book a table which is £1000 or so we were told, the staff are rude and obnoxious unless your waving a gold card or a huge wodge of cash , the people who I had the misfortune of meeting there were also vile and rude and I think at the last count I had 3 drinks pored over me with not a word of apology one guy claiming it was my fault for standing in front of his booth!!! So in short I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have their head firmly up their backside !!

Really rude door girl with no valid reason to act upon. Cool club though with amazing performances and great music. It gets a bit too crowded from time to time!

Really rude snooty door staff. I went with 5 girlfriends, really looking forward to a good night out. But were asked how old we were by the lady on the door (all 24-27) and she refused us entry... ruined our night! Clearly we didnt have the right look for the club! :-(
