Brunch in Soho on a Saturday afternoon, sounds like a brush with elbows and fate, right? But as my boyfriend rightly pointed out, we're everything that 16 year old us would hate and we love it; and that's all thanks to 100 Wardour St. The Venue With their address for a name, obviously 100 Wardour St…
100 Wardour St
The ground floor at 100 Wardour St is a relaxed and stylish Bar & Lounge, perfect for lunch, firing off a few emails between meetings, and after-work cocktails and bar bites. The diverse menu offers something for everyone, from crispy squid and Thai beef salad to vegan dishes such as harissa roasted pomegranate with pistachios and quinoa.
Downstairs in the basement Restaurant & Club at 100 Wardour St, things are a little more louche, drawing on Soho’s spirit of fun and indulgence. Food is served until late from a menu including Yellowfin tuna tartare, Chateaubriand for two, braised lamb, roasted scallops and chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream. There is a fantastic cocktail selection and as befits the venue’s history as the site of London’s iconic Marquee Club – where artists including David Bowie and the Rolling Stones strutted their stuff – there are DJs and live music five nights a week.
Join 100 Wardour St every weekend with brunches on Saturdays and Sundays. Jukebox Brunch takes place on Saturdays in the Bar & Lounge, with a roaming band taking your requests and brunch available from £30. Rewind Brunch takes place every Sunday in the Restaurant & Club, with 90s classics alongside bottomless bubbles and brunch dishes from £27 for 2 courses.
