What they say:

Number 177 Bar & Kitchen is bringing together the worlds of art, music, food and drink into one Shoreditch venue. Acting as both a restaurant bar and a gallery, the space will feature a roster of artists – all of whose work you’ll be able to purchase online – that will change every two months in order to feature a wide range of different talents. The bespoke mural will be replaced every three months also, and the artistic streak runs even further into the design, with trippy zebra-streaked bathrooms and pillars, and a sliding wall of graffiti art dividing the main space from the black club room.

What we say:

East London is the artistic hub of the capital and Number 177 wants to channel that energy into one venue. But it’s not just the space that utilises that creative energy – the menu is packed full of innovative dishes, from vegan, vegetarian and gluten free plates to inventive burgers and desserts. The menu has a German twinge, with Schnitzel burgers and Jagermeister ice cream being choice picks, and for sides they offer five different types of chips made from root vegetables. Luckily they don’t skimp on the drinks menu either, with a cocktail menu and, of course, a strong craft beer list.
