Jack's is one of the best things to have hit the streets of
Southwark in recent years. Occupying a converted railway arch,
owners Ryan and John McElhinney have transformed the space into a
trendy new venue, furnished with bespoke items and vintage pieces:
antique and modern furnishings sit upon dark, walnut floors and
against exposed bricked walls, whilst soft lighting creates a
relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Paying homage to the original bar and restaurant opened in 1970
by their father, Jack's ticks all of the boxes when it comes to an
inner city bar. The bar is always fully stocked, and their new food
menu serves up a tasty lookin' selection of authentic Thai food;
what's more, the interior is packed with comfy seating and is
spacious enough to allow for privacy - what more could you want
from a Central London bar?
Monday to Wednesday Jacks is a bustling cocktail bar that's good
for a drink and a catch up with friends, come Thursday to Saturday
it hosts a DJ every night and is great for a party!
