Description
With sustainability at its core, Barge East offers a seasonal a la carte and 'super sustainable specials' & a Sunday roast menus using readily available produce and ingredients from Barge East's on-site gardens and local suppliers.
Moored on the River Lee in Hackney Wick, the historic 125-year-old Dutch barge has been transformed from its former life as a cargo barge in Holland into a floating restaurant and bar in East London. Sitting adjacent to its sister venue, riverside street food and bar Barge East Gardens & Terrace.
Offering a variety of dining experiences in its authentic spaces:
- The Lower Deck Main Dining Room based in the hull of the barge offering views of the chef's kitchen
- The Upper Deck for heated covered or uncovered outdoor spaces boasting 360 degree riverside views of London's skyline
- Exclusive dining experience in the secluded Captain's Cabin for groups of 4 to 8 - a quaint, fairy lit space located behind the Captains wheel, guests can play their own music and decorate the cabin to help theme their occasion.
- The Canopy - a beautiful private dining space for up to 26 guests with views of the Gardens and river.
