BOOGIE ON DOWN VOL.2 FUNK

Last Month we had B.O.D House, this time its the FUNK. A freestyle contest and party for all who love the funk as well as DISCO everything for you to POP, LOCK, WAACK, SHUFFLE, SKATE, SKANK and SOUL TRAIN down the way!! 

*Prizes, Goodies and more given to Best Dancer that worked the party and to the ONE who truly Boogie On Down'd!

*ROUND 1: DJ Plays for 90mins all the beast funk, disco and future boogie tracks and you simply PARTY. A secret judge will join you he/she will choose their top 12 from floor to go on to the next round.

*ROUND 2:Showcase round, DJ plays and you show us what you got!! Be in the music, it's your time, your moment your Dance!!! 8 DANCERS will be chosen to go onto the Semi-Finals.

*ROUND 3 (Semi-Finals)

*STALKING TIME!!

Well in house the term is called Stalking where PAIRS of dancers dance back and forth, in and out, around and down but together displaying an array of questions and answers with their movement as they try to maintain the flow within the music.

The pairs are chosen randomly from a hat!
4 DANCERS are chosen to go through to the final!

*FINAL ROUND (ALL TOGETHER NOW!)
Here we administer the RODA fashion style seen in Capoeira, this time its within your STYLE of dance.

Two dancers start off and begin the exchange ritual, energy is heightened, emotions rising and the music takes over when another dancer decides to get involved by gesturing somehow to the dancer they wish to exchange with. This game of ins and outs, clash and turns goes on for 8 mins with our DJ mixing power tracks of funk heaven to fuel the dancers. BUT ALAS there can only be ONE VICTOR......AND a special prize for a special someone! Loads more on the night, Special raffle too so lots of opportunity to win BIG!!!
