Description

Roadtrip & The Workshop is a roadside juke joint hangout smack bang in the gateway to Shoreditch. Its laid back rock'n'roll aloofness makes it a prime spot for locals, music types and groups of friends look to hang tight, and if they're lucky, catch the next big thing playing live!

Just because this place has got a rough-round-the-edges attitude towards its live acts, it doesn't mean it hasn't got an extraordinary cocktails list. Look out for classics like the absinthe laced Sazerac which packs a weighty punch, or the more delicate and experimental long drinks like the Chocolate Orange. As for the food, order your favourite pizza, hot dog or BBQ sharing platter and get stuck in.

Head downstairs, and you'll find The Workshop. A rowdy basement bar famed for its live music offering, The Workshop promises an intimate set-up, often pulsing well into the night! Keep an eye on their upcoming listings for some of the best gigs in the city.

Roadtrip Bar London - DJ Bar Review

Roadtrip Bar is at the forefront of trendy Shoreditch, located a short walk from Old Street Station into Hoxton. I've ventured this way many a time but it's always been on my way to work, so I was delighted to finally pass beyond the palm trees on a...

Great staff and place with the 1st floor more chill with multiple TVs, amd small room downstairs for live music. Only letdown was one of the employees who got all stressed out when he gave me a wrong dish and I ate it (never been there before, how the f*** am I supposed to know?).

Spent a few nights at concerts here and always enjoyed it. Great for discovering up-and-coming bands, with brilliant acoustics downstairs that allows you to truly enjoy the music.

Whoever took the photo of this bar deserves a medal! We visited on a Sunday afternoon, purely on the basis that this looked quirky and different. When we entered the place stank of bleach, the staff were surly and the food was VASTLY overpriced for what it was. Also my friend's hot chocolate was stone cold!! NOT impressed. Hi there, thank you for your visit & the feedback! We get very busy on Saturdays and are open until very late, but also take cleanliness very seriously so it looks like the cleaners went all out on that day. We apologise for your experience and have already taken steps to improve on that front. Other comments are also taken on board and we'd love if you gave us another try in the future! RT&WS x

Quirky American style bar. Drinks are simple but effective and they have a good happy hour on during the week too. Staff were really friendly and I've seen some great music acts downstairs too.

Headed down for a friends birthday, we didn't stick it out the whole night but we did make use of their awesome cocktail hour which is 2-4-1. Pretty simple cocktails but tasty, and well worth the dosh

Small but lively, this bar is a great place to go if you want a mix of decent music, reasonable price drinks and a choice of sitting and chatting (over the music mind you) or dancing with a small dance raised dance area.

Such a cozy place with a cool rock n roll vibe and late closing time, I'll be back to check out the downstairs one day. The bar staff was very knowledgeable on this occasion but it could have been a blip. Nice mixed crowd.
