The brains behind one of London's most notorious bars, Nightjar, have taken over the former Cock Tavern site in Smithfields Market to open a bespoke new drinking experience. Continuing the Nightjar philosophy for customly crafted cocktails and entertainment, Oriole brings its own distinctive flavours to London's night life with a menu inspired by the global flight paths of the Oriole bird.

News of this opening has spread like wild fire, and is it any wonder? With the couple behind Nightjar in tow, Oriole has all the makings of another iconic watering hole for this here City. Expect colonial charm, tiki style decor and grand wall murals for the interior design.
