New Bar Spy - Lady of the Grapes

New Wine Bar Puts The Spotlight On Female Producers

Lady of the Grapes

Opens

July 2018

What they say:

Located in the heart of Covent Garden, this 29-cover wine bar, restaurant and deli is showcasing the talent of female winemakers. The brainchild of The Grocery Wine Vault's Carole Bryon, Lady of the Grapes serves 80 different varieties of wine, alongside delicious paired plates and even a deli where customers can purchase an extensive range of wines, cheeses, charcuterie and fine groceries.

Executive Chef, Eliott Buchet's menu is made of french tapas-style small plates - think Cobble Lane bresola, chorizo basque and smoked duck breast, perfectly paired with an expertly chosen sip.

What we say:

This French wine bar and restaurant puts the focus on female winemakers. Stocking around 80 bottles of the good stuff - predominantly made by women - guests can enjoy 15 of these by the glass alongside a specially-paired menu of tasty dishes and sharing boards designed by Rambla's Victor Garvey.
