What they say:

The Devil's Darling is a new cocktail bar based in the heart of the City of London. Boasting elevated views of the both Wilson Street and the idyllic Finsbury Square, the bar goes against the trend in the city's cocktail circles by leaving creativity to one side and specialising in classic cocktails. Think crisp martinis, warming old fashioneds and fresh mint juleps. But it's not all old skool here. Though traditional recipes are the headliners, the menu does feature 3 daily specials, all chosen by the talented team of bartenders.

What we say:

We're pretty excited to pay this charming spot a visit. The City of London has always had its fair share of cocktail bars. But over the past decade, these bars have shunned tradition and instead seem hell-bent on outdoing each other by creating as quirky a cocktail as they possibly can. The Devil's Darling shuns that trend and is instead focussing its attention on the past, using an impressive selection of spirits and liqueurs to replicate recipes that go back decades. To accompany the retro-tilt of this venue, the walls are lined with classical murals and the sound of vintage vinyl records fills the entire venue.
