CAU

Description

The people behind CAU fell in love with Buenos Aires and wish to capture the vibrant heart of the city in their restaurant bar. CAU Backheath is their fourth venture, opened after success in other cities including Cambridge and Amsterdam. They have created a bright space fitted with white booths and chairs along with black topped tables. The décor is modern and simplistic, mixing curved surfaces with sleek lines and dashes of metallic details. Landscape images are hung on walls and ceiling adding a touch of freshness and a natural feel.

Encompassing the vivacity and passion of Buenos Aires in every aspect of CAU, the atmosphere is always buzzing and waiters are fun and energetic. The food here embraces this same nature with vibrant flavours, staying true to Buenos Aires and serving nothing but the best beef, while having Spanish and Italian influences. Come for lunch or dinner to savour their steaks, burgers and steak sandwiches; but make sure to leave space for their recommended Corn Flake Ice Cream Sundae.
