The Pen Factory is a relaxed bistro and bar next door to the Everyman Theatre, on Liverpool’s Hope Street. Serving sharing plates and tapas-styled cuisine from breakfast ‘til late, the menus here are updated twice daily to ensure there’s always something fresh and vibrant to tuck into.

Get your day started with a pastry at breakfast, or come at lunchtime to savour the communal atmosphere and get two small plates for £9 (Tuesday - Friday, 12-4pm). The Pen Factory is equally at ease hosting you for dinner, with an open plan kitchen adding a little extra theatre to the evening and wholesome salads on offer from the venue’s larder.

So much more than just a place to fill up on interesting and freshly prepped sharing plates, The Pen Factory also features an excellent range of cask ales, continental lagers and wines, as well as an interesting menu of aperitif and digestive cocktails created to complement the food on show.
