Rookwood Bar & 'Cue is a minimalist restaurant and bar with a laid-back and casual dining feel. Chipboard and simple metal seats have been used to create a pared-back feel, while the bar has exposed brick and low-hanging lights.
Using an Inka grill and meat that has been dry-aged using Himalayan salt by a local butcher, the restaurant has been named as one of the best BBQ eateries in the country by The Times. Dishes use the finest quality of meats; the beer and cheese burger, topped with beer-coated cheese, is a particular favourite.
The bar has a crack team of mixologists who whip up a delicious selection of cocktails. There are regular deals throughout the week including 2-for-1 burgers on Tuesdays and Steak and Vino night on Wednesdays.
