Simple, neutral charm is the darling crux of eatery and cocktail destination, Maray. Found on Bold Street and toting a top selection of small plates, dining and drinking takes on a wholesome magnetism.
A foray into Maray is nothing too unlike social dining. A brilliantly intimate space brimming with long dining tables, and charming bar and bar brick, there's a humbleness that's not hard to miss. From rustic furniture and fresh flowers, down to exposed awnings and natural light, Maray makes dining an edible encounter in the city.
Inspired by Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean dishes, Maray conjure up an ever changing menu of treats to satisfy palates that are hankering after fresh plates yet far-flung flavours. Whether you're lushing your palate in lamb kofta with pine nuts and tahini at £5.60, or tucking into other small plates such as the tomato, harrisa shakshuka and baked egg at £5.20, there's plenty to enjoy. Cocktails are also a mighty cool treat at Maray as guests can savour the likes of an 'Agent Cooper' with Kahlua, chocolate bitters and frangelico at £7, or the tartness of their gin and elderflower brimming St Germain Whip for the same price. Remember though, the menu is ever changing.
