Description
The Royal Institution was founded in the early 1800s as an organisation for literature, science and the arts. In 1821 it was granted its Royal Charter, and today the team at Royal Institution Bar strive to keep the foundations of its history alive.
The décor within is an homage to the rich history that the building inhabits. It has changed many times over the years, but today it stands as an extraordinary cocktail bar. A menu includes everything from beer and wines to spirits and cocktails. The team has handcrafted a number of signature cocktails so there is a choice for everyone. Their most famous cocktail 'El Flamenco Azul' - which loosely translates into 'The Blue Flamingo' - is dedicated to the large flamingo artwork in the hallway. Hungry? There's bar snacks for that.
For those of you after something a little different, cocktail masterclasses give a diverse option to your night out, with skilled bartenders bringing you behind the bar to show you the ropes and teach you how to make your favourite cocktail.
