OMG Club

In need of a mid-week pick-me-up? Shake off those library blues with a trip to OMG Bar for their Poundemonium club night. Every Wednesday the city's biggest lesbian and gay venue offers free entry and £1 drinks all night long. Just don't blame us for your head in the morning...

Basement 45

Saunter down to Basement 45 where you'll find cheap entry and a range of dubstep, house and electro tunes waiting for you. The Frogmore Street drinking den is also decked out in fairy lights, exposed bricks and various benches in case you're in need of a breather.

Attic Bar

Located in the hub of Stokes Croft, Attic Bar is one of the best cheap clubs in the city and something of a favourite amongst students. With space for 240 partygoers, as well as an array of performers gracing their stage, the intimate venue is guaranteed to be heaving by midnight.

Mbargo

With budget-friendly shots and drink deals throughout the week, Mbargo is a top choice for a night out in Bristol. But it's not all hot DJs and chart-toppers - the venue also hosts an epic blowout every Thursday where £5 gets you three VKs, Jägerbombs or bottles of Carlsberg.

Motion

One of the biggest student clubs in Bristol, Motion packs a punch with a line-up of international DJs and eclectic events taking place throughout the massive former warehouse. When you're done partying in the night, look out for the daytime events which include pizza and prosecco, sports screenings and boozy bingo all dayers.

Lizard Lounge

Along with Spoons, the library, and Stokes Croft, Lizard Lounge is one spot that students will quickly become familiar with. The nightclub, situated on Queens Road, is open five days a week, meaning you can shimmy and shake right up until that 9am lecture.

Thekla

Take your party to the water with an unforgettable evening onboard this iconic converted cargo ship. Having been on the Bristol social scene since the 1980s, Thekla has become something of an institution, hosting some of the best DJs in the South West along with weekly pop and hip hop club nights.
