Having taken Sunderland by storm, this is Doner Haus first opening north of the border. The Berlin style kebab house serves fancy kebabs using prime meats and creating dishes such as Cluck Haus, which is made with shredded iceberg lettuce, avocado, tomato, onions and streaky bacon.

Along with kebabs, the restaurant serves traditional German dishes which includes the likes of a doner and wurst plate, and Berlin krispy chicken strips. Beer is also German-influenced with a selection of Bavarian beers served in steins, alongside a variety of craft beers. Taking over the former spot of Giraffe restaurant, the spot also serves boozy milkshakes and cocktails.
