The team behind Topolabamba have opened a second restaurant. Chaakoo Bombay Cafe is based on the Iranian cafes found in India at the end of the 19th century. Aiming to replicate the sense of community found in these venues, Chaakoo Bombay Cafe serves small plates which they encourage you to share.

The menu is full of meat dishes from the grill such as Kalmi Kebab and Tandori Spiced Wings, while the cocktail menu has been inspired by the fruity flavours of The Middle East. The restaurant serves all day, starting with lunch and moving onto an all-day menu. 

Chaakoo Bombay Cafe combines Old Glaswegian style with Iranian touches. The building retains some of its gorgeous old features such as the vaulted ceilings and pillars while combing the Iranian element with traditional tea pots one each table and tea-house signs.
