Celebrate Valentine's day by heading down to the O2 Academy. Here, on February 13th, they'll be hosting a night of 1920’s romantic revelry. Clink your martinis, pop open the bubbly, and guzzle the bootleg booze.. but do it quietly, because this is a prohibition party! Turn up donning your most flapper & dapper clobber and dance the night away as DJ Loveless and DJ Poprock spin the full spectrum of tunes - from vintage to modern. And they'll be plenty of acts here too, including:
- Bubble Dance – the Sally Rand burlesque act that scandalised society.
- Kinks and Contortion – John Celestus
- Serge Violland – Jetting in from Geneva with his unique stripteasing circus act.
- Star – Hettie Heartache’s homage to the master of Art Deco style – Erté.
- Sunset Boulevard – the self-proclaimed greatest star of silent movies – Norma Desmond.
- Miss Hell’s Belle – Mistress of Glasgow’s only dedicated 1920s club – The Gatsby Club. If you love the 20s – get yourselves along to this night.
- I Wanna Be Loved By You – boop boop be doop.
- Gangster – Tiff Finney’s out to kill Spats Colombo from a rival Chicago gang.
- Some Like It Hot – Charleston dance by Dollhouse Burlesque. Sweet Sue and her Society Syncopators would hire them.
- Champagne – The Great Gatsby’s parties didn’t swing till the champagne flowed. Oliver Twisted and his Ollie’s Follies.
- Miss Scottish Pin-Up Miss Kelly Bakewell – sings a romantic ditty.
- Valentino – a movie fan dresses for her date at the pictures – lusting over screen idol, the Latin lover. Lila D’Lacey.
- Fetish Photographer – those illicit postcards could have you arrested. Lola Mimalone and Psyclone Jack.

3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
