Description

For over twenty years King Tut's has been bringing great music straight to the centre of Glasgow. This legendary St. Vincent Street club is known for kick-starting the careers of Coldplay, Blur and Biffy Clyro. It was here that the Gallaghers were first discovered during one glorious fortnight in 1993, which saw Oasis, The Verve and Radiohead take to the stage.

Two decades on, and King Tut's is still one of the hottest clubs in Glasgow for catching the grassroots Glaswegian talent or the best emerging artists from further afield, seven nights a week. As a small, 300 capacity venue every gig is intimate and the crowd is generally packed with appreciative die-hards. Most surprising about King Tut's perhaps, is that not only is it a kick-ass venue by night, it also serves up grub worthy of a rockstar by day too, with a selection that includes burgers, burritos, pasta and salad. And you'll need your greens; Tut's has a later licence than most live venues in town, so you could be dancing into the wee hours to an extra-long encore.

Definitely one of the best live venues in the UK i'd say! Seen some awesome bands here and had a lot of fun!
