Situated in the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, Bobar has a little more charm that your average hotel bar. Located in the heart of the West End, Bobar is renowned for its cocktail menu, filled with accomplished classics and quirky signatures. Another thing this joint is famous for; Glasgow's first piece of naked pub art. In 2006, 550 Glaswegians posed around the bar in the nip for photographer Alistair Devine and the picture still hangs in the bar today.
With a wide, street side patio, Bobar is a neat people-watching station on Byres Road, while inside, the comfortable bar is brimming with atmosphere from great staff and ample locals. A popular haunt with after-workers, this place is bustling most evenings, with platters keeping groups quaffing drinks until late. Diners from the attached Bovine Restaurant nip in for pre and post dinner cocktails while Sunday nights see live music ease patrons back into the week.
