The Berkeley Suite is far too swanky to be called a club. Yes it does open late and yes it has got some killer DJs, but this City Centre bar is so much more than a sweaty dancefloor and an awesome soundsystem. The interior is stunning; an art deco drinking den meets vaudeville theatre (with a little bit of Mulholland Drive trippiness too) deep red tones, velvet dancehall chairs and plush booths, candelabra lighting, parquet flooring, a marble staircase and Edwardian style tiles. The opulent speakeasy surroundings attract an astute crowd, on the hunt for a little debauchery, who appreciate the surroundings as much as the music.
A ream of select DJs churn out all manner of electronica, dub step, disco, punk, house and techno. But particularly popular are The Berkeley Suite's monthly Classic Album Sundays; a great record is chosen and punters sit quietly in the opulent surroundings and listen to it in its entirety - as the artist intended. A versatile venue with an ever-changing programme of events, The Berkeley Suite (a sister venue to secret bar Chinaski's) is a real Glaswegian gem.

The Berkeley Suite is a cool, secret club just a few minutes walk from the main hub of Sauchiehall Street bars and club. But unlike it's counterparts nearby, The Berkeley Suite is more about the top DJs and epic tracks than the gimicky club nights...
