Description

There may not be a built-in bowling alley, but there are a hell of a lot of White Russians in this Argyle Street, bar-shaped nod to a certain Big movie featuring The Dude. Heaving on weekends - and still pretty lively midweek too - an impressive drinks menu and some of the most acclaimed burgers in Scotland, have captured the hearts - and waistlines - of many a Glaswegian.

Despite the 25 white russians on the menu, complete with movie quotes, and grub with names like The MacBowski Fillet Burger, this is more than just a novelty venue. Exposed brick walls clash with fancy wallpaper to create something of a dive meets deluxe interior. With DJs on weekends, this isn't the place to go for a quiet dinner, but it's a fun, lively spot for movie buffs and bluffs alike.

Lebowskis - Glasgow Bar Review

Lebowskis a is one cool dude of a bar on Argyle Street, providing mean White Russians, monster burgers and mega banter to bad-ass Glaswegians. Lebowski's is a cool setting with lots of movie-themed adornments.  The Venue Themed on the big...

Lebowskis have two venues so far, and this was the original and is much bigger than the Southside venue. Lebowskis is always packed, even on weeknights. Its the only decent bar within walking distance of the SECC/ Hydro, so that probably explains why its always so busy. Its a bit too busy at times, but you can't really penalise a venue for being successful. The staff are great and it has nice decor including a big light up sign. Reasonable prices too.

Really love the drinks here! Certainly worth the hype. Their white russians do live up to its infamous name, The place is tastefully done and has a great atmosphere. Only thing is it just get quite packed...never been able to get a chair just yet! Definitely worth the visit though.

Have only been once, but it was epic. The food is cooked to perfection and great value. Staff are so friendly, and the DRINKS! Excellent selection and there are bits and pieces from the movie all over the place. Worth the hype.
