Boasting an insane sound system and a roaring atmosphere, Liquid is easily one of the biggest nightclubs in Colchester (both literally and proverbially).

This spacious venue dates back to 1905 when it used to be the 'Grand Palace of Varieties', and that name still rings true here today. Liquid boasts a cracking variety rooms for entertainment. The main room, 'Liquid', houses an amazing sound system and an astonishing lighting setup, making it one of the best spaces for DJs to perform in Essex. The second room, 'Envy', is home to the biggest and best party tracks from the 80's, head inside and shuffle the night away. The third room 'The Gods' is a decadent space in the upper levels of this venue, head up to hear the sounds of R'n'B. And finally, there's the Balcony, an area for partygoers to take five minutes out whilst they sip on some bubbly and overlook the sea of people raving it up below. 

In terms of the booze on offer, there's a great selection of bubbles and wines, alongside a plethora of spirits, beers and ciders. Get the jagerbombs in and dance until the early hours.
