Mark your calendars for Friday, October 27th, as we welcome back this dynamic duo, Josh and Joe, hailing from the picturesque Mersea Island.
Wilswood Buoys, formed in the summer of 2017, initially started as two friends simply jamming together. However, their passion quickly evolved into creating their own unique music. With distinct musical backgrounds, Josh and Joe blended various genres to craft a raw and fresh alt/folk island sound. Expect catchy riffs and soaring choruses that will keep you hooked throughout the night.
In 2021, Wilswood Buoys had an incredible year, with highlights including supporting the legendary Frank Turner in Colchester and gracing the stage at Lost Evenings IV on the Nick Alexander Stage at The Roundhouse in London. Their journey continued into 2023, where they supported Frank Turner on his UK tour and joined The Levellers for several dates. Now, they're coming back to Three Wise Monkeys to deliver an intimate performance you won't want to miss.
But that's not all! Joining Wilswood Buoys on this tour is the sensational HENSHAW. In the spring of 2022, Henshaw was part of the Xtra Mile Recordings / Nick Alexander Music Trust PET NEEDS Tour, followed by a successful tour in Germany with the PET NEEDS crew in the autumn. Henshaw dropped his eagerly awaited album, "NOBODY CARES, WORK HARDER," in May 2022, following up on the critically acclaimed "FIVE COMPASS LIGHTHOUSE" from 2019.
In early 2020, HENSHAW teamed up with Dan Booth from FEROCIOUS DOG for an intimate duet tour that garnered rave reviews and universal praise. Their collaboration resulted in the album "REVISIT," featuring 10 original Henshaw compositions. They celebrated the end of lockdown with a SOLD OUT show in February 2022, setting the stage for an exciting musical journey.

Access - There is no lift to access the top floor of Three Wise Monkeys. There are five flights of hand-railed stairs to reach the top floor with rest opportunities between each flight.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
