Set in seriously cool and arty Roath, Anna Loka is Cardiff's first 100% vegan restaurant. The brainchild of Hare Krishna monk and dedicated vegan Adam, the low-key, wooden-clad restaurant aims to bring meat-and-dairy-free deliciousness to diners.
Using fresh and natural ingredients, such as fruity berry compote and creamy cashew pesto, Anna Loka's brunches and Sunday lunches are not only healthy but also packed full of flavour. The kitchen team focuses on raw ingredients and subtle flavours to create meat substitutes so good that even hardened carnivores will be converted, and best of all, burgers that are actually good for you.
Regular events are organised, with everything from a five-course vegan tasting menu to a seven-day raw challenge, and the selection of cakes and cookies are perfect for a coffee date.
