The  UK’s  No.  1  Tommy  Cooper  Show  is  back  on  tour!
Tommy  Cooper  was  a  true  comic  genius.  His  impeccable  timing,  misfiring  magic,  trademark  fez  and  quick-fire  gags  made  him  an  international  star.
"JLT!"  continues  to  wow  audiences  after  sell-out  success  at  London’s  Museum  of  Comedy  and  an  extensive  UK  tour.  This  all-encapsulating  show  stars  John  Hewer  (Tony  Hancock,  Hancock's  Half  Hour  -  The  'Lost'  Episodes,  Harold  Steptoe,  Steptoe  and  Son)  giving  "a  perfect  illusion  of  time  travel"  and  delivering  "nuances  both  obvious  and  subtle"  as  the  man  in  the  fez.
With  live  musical  accompaniment,  this  acclaimed  tribute  is  the  perfect  celebration  of  Britain's  favourite  comedian.
“John  Hewer  is excellent!  He’s  picked  up  the  nuances  both  obvious  and  subtle” –  Everything  Theatre
“John Hewer  captures  the  Cooper  style,  from  the  mumbled  speech  and  loud  laughter  to  the  awkward  giant-body  language” – The  Stage
"Very  much  aloving  odeto  this  comic  oddball” – Beyond  the  Joke
“It  delivers  on  every  one  of it’s  promises.  As  a  love  letter  to  Tommy  Cooper,  it’s  sealed  with  a  loving  kiss” – Broadway  Baby
"A  perfect  illusion of  time  travel” – The  Lost  Review
“No  one  can  rival  the  original,  but  this  is closest  you  are  going  to  get  to seeing  Tommy  Cooper  on  stage” – Black  Diamond  FM
“If  you  fancy  a  trip  down  memory  lane,  then  it’s  money,  ticket,  ticket,  money – JUST  LIKE  THAT!” – Chortle
“The  dear  boy’s  a  comedy  genius!”–  Leslie  Phillips  CBE
“I  never  believed  it  would  be  possible  to  recreate  the  unforgettable  Mr.  Cooper.  John  Hewer  has  proved  me  wrong.” – Robert  Ross  (Comedy  Historian)

Visited 2 months from now Written by thunderblue600
Delighted that Quentin Crisp Naked Hope June 31st 2019 at the lovely intimate Jermyn Street Theatre, just weeks after my slow journey to recovery from a very dark period was my first theatre experience in over six months during which you could hardly get me out of bed let alone the front door. Your performance blew me away so much so that instinctively I invited Mark to bring his brilliant production to The Hill Station Community Cafe in SE14 Lewisham London and so proud that your play was the first 'off West End' play to be performed on 16th Jan 2020 at the cafe since it's opening in 2010, and to a full house. I now regard this lovely gentle man as a friend foremost, what comes across in your acting and interviews is how open and exposed you are about your life journey and battles with depression. Your direct eye to eye contact with the audience is a joy to experience. So looking forward to experiencing in the 'Real World' more of your productions - existing ( one performance of Quentin is just not enough darling ) and new creations.
