What they say:

Serving up delicious, high-quality cuts of meat, an eclectic range of starters, and an array of sides, salads, pies and burgers, Pasture is the latest addition to the Redcliffe dining scene. Chef and owner Sam Elliot was inspired to create the restaurant around the concepts of 'Fire, Meat, Music & Bristol', offering delicious cooked beef, chicken and pork dishes in the 75-cover dining area, with a live music every Friday and Saturday until late giving the venue a real buzz. The bar is happy to keep the atmosphere topped up too with its stunning selection of neo-classic cocktails, such as the Smoked Negroni, not to mention its great range of local craft beers and ciders.

What we say:

The first restaurant from Bristol-born chef Sam Elliot, Pasture is a grill spot with a difference. A zero landfill restaurant, this steakhouse is dedicated to ethical food and drink. Sourcing everything from its potatoes to its gin locally, its meat dishes showcase offal as much as prime cuts, while even its plates come especially crafted by a local potter. Split across two storeys, the interiors feature floor-to-ceiling windows in the upstairs dining area, looking out of the beautiful St. Mary Redcliffe church, with a stunning mural winding up the staircase, painted by Bristol artist Jody.
