Orange Jumpsuits & Contraband Cocktails: An Immersive Prison Speakeasy Is Heading To Bristol

Alcotraz: Cell Block Two-Two-Six Bristol | DesignMyNight

It might not be Shawshank, but will you find redemption?

Ever wondered how you'd fair behind bars? Of course you have. Now you can find out as Alcotraz: Cell Block Two-Two-Six is coming to Bristol on the 23rd of January. With five successful locations across the UK including in Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester, this immersive experience is touching down in Briz. The secretive speakeasy is one-of-a-kind, inspired by the Hollywood movies and TV shows that have shone a spotlight on infamous prison stories.

Get the gang together, sport a dashing orange jumpsuit, liaise with bootleggers and sneak your liquor past the eagled-eyed warden to the inmates who, quite literally, serve. They’ll whip up bespoke cocktails based on your tastes and whatever you’ve triumphed in hiding. Once on the inside, you will be met by a cast of talented actors who'll throw you straight into the centre of a unique storyline that unfolds. Will you help The Warden crack down on the contraband in their prison or will you help inmate Cassidy finally escape?

Catering for stags, hens, birthdays and more, this theatrical bar is one you’ll remember if you manage to make your way out by negotiating your parole, therefore completing your very own great escape.

It would be criminal to miss this night out.

Alcotraz: Cell Block Two-Two-Six is now available to book here from the 23rd January at 1 All Saints Street, BS1 2LZ. For more like this, sign up to our future Bristol newsletter.
