Sundays here centre around 'The Great British Roast', focusing on seasonal ingredients across dishes like Cameron Naughton pork belly 'porchetta', Castlemead Farm chicken and mushroom Wellington.

For the best Sunday roasts at Bristol's Harbourside? Check out The Ostrich, which sits right on Bathurst Basin. This dog-friendly destination is bless with cosy interiors and a glorious summertime terrace overlooking the water, but it's the Sunday lunch that's really caught our eye. 

The British gastro menu here includes confit Somerset pork belly with burnt apple purée and stuffing, rump cap of Angus & Hereford beef, and Castlemead chicken supreme marinated in garlic and thyme with stuffing, alongside a vegan alternative of celeriac, squash and pearl barley filo parcel with mushroom gravy. And for pudding? Biscoff doughnuts.

Housed inside a 17th-century structure, this quaint watering hole will make you dream of simpler times. Plus, the Aberdeen Angus beef served with ox cheek ragu is a must.
