Sweden, home of flat packed furniture, death metal and now, some pretty incredible whisky! Meet Mackmyra, the Swedish distillery turning heads around the globe. These Scandinavian innovators have been pushing the boundaries of whisky since 1999, and we've invited them down to Black Rock for an evening to showcase their very best. You're host for the evening is whisky expert and Mackmyra ambassador Gareth Bell, who will walk you though this unique selection of drams:
Mackmyra Vit Hund - the new make spirit
Brukswhisky - a light style whisky
Gront Te - the latest seasonal release, finished in ex-green tea casks
EFVA - a select bottling from Mackmyra's "Moment" range
Svensk Rok - smoked using Swedish peat and juniper wood
Svensk Rok Amerikansk Ek - Also smoked using Swedish peat and juniper wood, then aged in new American oak casks
and finally, Gareth will be bringing along two direct cask samples, from 30L casks at the distillery stores. An exceptional chance to taste some very rare whisky!

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
