Shelter Hall is a re-imagined food hall by the sea unlike any other, serving non-stop originality and curated menus to the good people of Brighton. With seven rotating kitchens, two bars, seaview terrace and intimate balconies, this is the place to settle in.

In the summer, grab a chair on the balcony or terrace, enjoy live music and experience international cuisine. Throughout the winter join us for supper clubs, gigs in our secret bar, and one-off pop ups from renowned chefs. Come for the food. Stay for everything else.

• Churrasco - Churrasco brings the soul of the Portuguese barbecue to Brighton, celebrating simple, fire-cooked food done properly.
• Saltio - Saltio started in 2021, set up by Paul and Tom after long careers in the hospitality industry. The pair took on a rundown restaurant on Worthing seafront and transformed it into one of the top Mexican eateries in the South.
• 3Bros Burgers - Sussex wagyu burgers from humble beginnings
• Temaki Bros - Temaki Bros began with Alastair Green’s lifelong obsession with sushi.
• Lost Boys Chicken - Born and raised by the sea, Tom set out with one bold mission: to bring the electric energy of London’s fried chicken scene to his hometown.
• VIP Pizza - Traditional pizzas from pizzaiolos spanning five generations. A Brighton staple hailing from Naples.
• ThaiAngle - Our commitment is simple: We make everything we can from scratch to ensure every dish is as fresh, authentic, and delicious as the street food that inspired it.

• Main Hall - With seating for up to 230 guests or 400 standing, surrounded by all seven of our kitchens and our impressive 10-metre bar, the main hall is the ideal setting for large-scale events with the option to bring in your own entertainment to personalise your event.For food and drink, you can choose to offer a buffet-style setup or allow guests to order freely from all of our kitchens and the bar.
• Mezzanine - Semi-circular in design, with floor-to-ceiling windows and uninterrupted views across the seafront and Brighton’s iconic piers, this impressive space is ideal for larger groups. Located on the 1st floor overlooking the main hall, the area offers exclusive access to all five balconies with retractable doors. The space can accommodate up to 105 guests seated or up to 150 standing with furniture removed. Private hire also includes access to food and drink packages from all of our kitchens, making it perfect for standout events of any style.
• Full Venue Hire -  For larger event and full takeovers, Shelter Hall offers exclusive whole-venue hire, providing a flexible and impressive space for up to 620 guests. You’ll have the freedom to plan your ideal layout across all of our spaces, including the main hall, mezzanine, Skylark Cocktail Bar, five sea-view balconies and our private dining room. Food and drinks can be offered buffet-style or served across all seven of our kitchens and bar, giving your guests a variety of options to enjoy throughout the celebration.
• Skylark Cocktail Bar - Tucked away on our first floor with stunning sea views, the Skylark Cocktail Bar is a fantastic space for groups of up to 50. Exclusive hire includes access to a private bar, a full drinks selection, and food from all seven of our kitchens. With bespoke layout options, the ability to plug in your own music, and support from our team throughout the night, Skylark is the perfect setting for an unforgettable event.
