Formally known as The Hope, The Hope & Ruin are set to open their doors again after a huge overhaul and refurbishment.
Taking design inspiration from the fit of bars in Eastern Europe this new boozer will be packed full of eclectic décor, lots of character and a general mish-mash of reclaimed trinkets, antiques as well as quirky and retro fitted stylings. Expect music to be this haunts main priority with a huge gig space taking over the top floor which will be attracting headliners from all over the UK and afar. With a 100 person capacity for their upstairs staging area, The Hope & Ruin push live music nights like nothing before in Brighton showcasing the latest Indie talent as well as new kids on the music industry's block. Boasting this space means the Hope & Ruin can also cater for occasions such as private parties, birthdays, film screenings and even dance classes.
This joint is a king pin on Brighton's creative night life scene and has a full food menu to match so punters can grab more than a pint on their visits. There'll be tapas, pizza, Sunday Roasts and a traditional pub grub spread to fill your boots with. As well as the usual beer offerings you would expect, The Hope & Ruin has been refurbished to house a continental-style tank lager, which delivers a pint of brewery fresh, unfiltered and unpasteurised beer straight form tank to glass. Talk about quenching that thirst.
