A popular drinking den just shy of London Road, Caroline Of Brunswick is a rock and alternative bar that doubles up as a live comedy and music venue; a cool addition to the already thriving London Road bar scene. 

These guys have acquired their fourth annual Cask Marque in a row, so it will come as no surprise what pulls patrons back night after night: the bar is famed for hosting a multitude of cask and craft ales, as well as seven ciders on draught (including Old Rosie). Arrive between 4pm and 8pm every day of the week and nab yourself a single spirit and mixer, a small glass of wine and any pint of real ale for £2.95.

If the weather is behaving itself, find a seat in the sheltered and foliage laden courtyard, before heading upstairs to catch one of their regular comedy nights, one-off shows or live music performances. Look our their regular film screenings, and be sure to chow down on one of their infamous Sunday Roasts - you really won't regret it.
