Off the beaten track and boasting a delicious deli-style selection of hot dogs? This traditional Brighton pub just shy of Kemptown is just the ticket to impress your chums with a drinking den like no other.
Inspired by the Irish and American style boozers at the end of the 19th Century, JW Lennon's is a love letter to the traditional 'spirit groceries' and back road bars of days gone by. An intimate pub with room to fit all but 60 drinkers, JW Lennon's is brimming with vintage fare, from raggedy books and walls smothered in historic charm to a floor that you wont be hard pushed to discover is laden in sawdust, adding again to the 19th Century touch; Book their 10 man strong Guinness back room for a secret event if the occasion takes it.
Their interiors may be seeking the past, but their deli-dogs are fare of the future, or at least incredibly tasty. From their bacon laden 'Weiner Takes All' to their 'Barking Mad' cocooned in jalapeno's, these Dirty Dawg Hot Dogs are hearty fare at less that £4 a pop; all washed down well with a selection of local ales and classic spirits.
