Beans On Toast has been touring for years, charming venue after venue with his own tongue and cheek brand of drunken folk. The man known as the 'barefoot troubadour' is embarking on his biggest tour yet, starting in Aberdeen and wrapping things up in Brighton. But on the way down, he of course is stopping off in our beloved Birmingham.
The chords are kept simple and the melodies are comfortingly bouncy, boosted by his excellent backing band. His witty lyrics and dry sarcasm about, drinking, politics, falling in love and getting laid always get audiences laughing. The man himself is a renowned entertainer, having played every UK festival you have heard of and probably some you haven't. You may be lucky enough to witness Beans' rapping skills, and he will more than likely get the audience involved in some bizarre fashion. Who doesn't love a bit of audience participation? The man is a must see, and for just £6 it's your perfect chance to witness this hippy icon in action.
