Multi Award winner Shaanti is proud to present Massi's Yard Brunch, a 90's + 00's Bhangra, Desi Beats and Bollywood-filled brunch that celebrates British South Asian music and culture. 

Join us as we celebrate two decades of amazing music and culture that brought us greats like Goodness Gracious Me and Bend It Like Beckham! The '90s + '00s saw the rise of Bhangra bands like Alaap, Apna Sangeet and Heera and the emergence of Panjabi MC, Jay-Z's hit single 'Beware of the Boys' as well as Malkit Singh and Stereo Nation. It was a time when the mainstream was dominated by British South Asian culture and a time when many of the biggest names in hip-hop and bhangra were coming together in perfect harmony. Legends like Truth Hurts, Raki, Erick Sermon, Redman, and Kanye West were embracing Bollywood while home-grown stars like RDB, Dr Zeus, B21, Tigerstyle, Juttla, Surinder Rattan, Metz and Trix were releasing iconic anthems of time. Bally Sagoo, Cornershop, Apache Indian and The Rishi Rich Project featuring Jay Sean and Juggy D dominated the UK charts and Wolverhampton-born Jas Mann’s ‘Spaceman’ hit the number one spot in the UK Singles Chart. 

The 90s also saw the rise of The Asian Underground movement; Talvin Singh, Joi, Nitin Sawhney, State of Bengal, M.I.A, UK Apache, Basmarsh and Shri were making waves and pushing out boundaries in music. Madonna donned Henna, Gwen Stefani rocked a bindi and East is East introduced us to a new catchphrase: 'You bloody basta£%!!!!' 

Massi's Yard Brunch will take you back to the 90s and early 2000s with a mix of classic Bollywood, Bhangra, Desi Beats, RNB and Hip Hop tunes. Please read our full terms and conditions below before purchasing your tickets, VIP Package or buying at the door. Purchasing tickets/packages or paying at the door signifies that you have agreed to be legally bound by the following.

-Price: £18.00 +BF, £20.00 +BF BF goes straight to the ticket agency+ T&Cs apply More at the door. VIP Booth Prices are above. Once purchased, all ticket sales, add-ons and products are final and will become non-refundable.

-Please note we are not a traditional brunch. Massi's Yard Brunch® is a five-hour club/party. 

-Your Ticket is for Entry Only.

- Tickets are non-refundable or transferable.

-Complimentary rum punch is served in the first hour only. This is not part of your ticket deal this is a complimentary service. The rum punch will be a fruity pineapple, orange, lime, dark rum, and light-rum punch. This cannot be exchanged for a drink of your choice and is based on first come first served: one drink per serving before refilling. This service ends at 1 pm.

-All Food and Drinks are to be purchased independently. Massi's Yard Brunch® is not responsible for this service.

-Seating is first-come first-served. Once all seats have been taken it will be standing room only. 

-To comply with our DRESS CODE: No tracksuits, Hoodies, Caps, Sportswear or Manbags. Trainers are allowed. Casual Wear is fine but no gym wear. The following items are not permitted. Football Shirts – Flip-Flops – Sliders – Sweatshirts. An effort is required at all times. No Effort: No Entry event if you have an advance ticket.

-Last Entry at 4 pm.

-Over 18+ event ID will be required.

-Please be considerate of all around you.

-Please drink responsibly.

-Management has the right to refuse entry and remove people from the premises when necessary on the day. 

-We shall not be liable for any costs, losses, damages or any expenses whatsoever, including but not limited to any liability for travel expenses or any other out-of-pocket expenses, in respect of the closure of part or all of Massi's Yard Brunch®.

-Only food and beverages purchased in the venue may be consumed in Massi's Yard Brunch®. Food and liquid in open containers cannot be brought into the show. 

-WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. Please email or DM us via Facebook before purchasing your tickets to ensure the venue has the necessary arrangements in place for wheelchair access. 

-If you are worried about CV19, do not buy tickets in advance. We highly recommend you follow these instructions to avoid any disappointment once purchased ticket sales, add-ons and products are final and will become non-refundable.

-Please refresh/download your tickets the day before the event. You must have the latest information. We can not be accountable if not done. 

-Important announcements are made on Massi's Yard Brunch® Facebook. We can not be responsible if you do not receive emails from third-party ticket companies.

-At these current times of change, we, The Taste and Liquor® Group/Massi's Yard Brunch® have the right to amend an event times/seating plan/location /lower sound levels/ no dancing/ mask on when standing-walking inside the venue, change of venue etc…and with up-to-date government rules/laws etc... at any time. 

-It is your responsibility to understand the new changes set by the government before purchasing your tickets. We are not responsible for this. For up-to-date information please visit www.gov.uk as we can only answer questions related to our event.   

-Our event will not be cancelled unless a blanket lockdown has been issued for the hospitality and leisure industry. If this happens your tickets will be transferred to another date only. Refunds will not be issued because of CV19. If restrictions are in place our event will still go ahead under social distancing laws or tickets can be transferred to another date/ can be used at another show as agreed with the promoter. MASSI'S YARD, DESI YARD BRUNCH and MASSI'S YARD BRUNCH® is the UK's first event of its kind, established in DEC 2021; this event is an original event and concept first created by the Shannti/Taste and Liquor Group. The show is produced exclusively for Massi's Yard, it can not be copied, reproduced, or copyrighted, and no third party can claim our authentication.
