Meating

Description

Carnivores rejoice. A dedicated pasture of MEAT is primed for grazing in Birmingham's Arcadian Centre.

With all rare breeds great and small, Meating is a meeting place for the best heritage slabs supplied from Yorkshire based Farmison Meats. Opened by two guys with a penchant for good quality foods and of the carnivorous nature, Meating uses hot charcoals as their primary cooking method so everything you eat in this place is cooked with tender, juicy goodness. Sauces, fries and all other manner of toppings and ingredients comes freshly prepared on the day from a kitchen led by Damien Woodcock.

The menu shouts about steaks of the flat iron, t-bone, ribeye and rump variety as well as belly pork ribs, grilled swordfish, and a range of burgers so names 'Lovely Buns'. Try their Lazycow patty which is a powerful and heady stack of beef short rib meat, caramelised onion, bernaise and pan juices for extra dunking measure.

After you've devoured your way through their meaty mains, there's a whole counter of gelato, gluttony goodness to get through. As the saying goes, 'a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the LIPS.'
