Come join us for a night of headbanging and moshing at Actress &
Bishop! Get ready to rock out to some epic tunes and enjoy the
electric atmosphere. Whether you're a die-hard metal fan or just
looking for a good time, this event is perfect for anyone who loves
heavy music.
Headliners 'Dying Addiction’’, are a four piece metal band from the
home of metal, Birmingham, UK. With their roots of inspiration
firmly planted in the 90's and early 2000's goth and metal scene,
they aim to bring that sound into today's age, in a unique and
eclectic way that becomes a beacon of female empowerment within
modern metal music.
Since forming in 2023, they have quickly made waves in the
grassroots metal community with dynamic live performances and first
three releases under the 'face your fears' project. Their music is
dark and gloomy combined with down-tuned hard-hitting riffs,
pit-worthy breakdowns, and a perfectly juxtaposed combination of
soaring femme vocals and gritty screams. All with lyrics steeped in
cult goth culture.
Supporting them are a four-piece Metal band from The Black Country,
‘Imperial Avenue’ a stones throw away from where Metal began. They
formed in 2021 when they were drawn together by their mutual love
of bands like Malevolence, Architects and Bring me the Horizon. The
journey is worth tuning in for now, as you can watch them become
the next big thing in the heavy music world.
And joining them is heavy Rock/Alt Metal band ‘Arrow Valley’.
Formed in Birmingham in 2020, Arrow Valley blend the melodic
songwriting and guitar-driven power of early 2000s rock and metal
with a modern heavy edge. Known for their nostalgic yet fresh
sound, the band continues to build momentum through consistent
releases, live performances, and growing recognition within the UK
rock and metal community.
