Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter may not be known as a hub from Brum's music scene, but pub venue The Actress and Bishop hold host to some of the greatest local gigs in town.
Just shy of St Paul's Square in the Jewellery Quarter, The Actress and Bishop is a traditional public house with great period features yet a modern stance. From slick beams and neon downlighting awe-inspiring feature windows and a glass backed bar, The Actress and Bishop does well to retain Brum's charming architectural history whilst creating the atmosphere of any city centre bar.
The Actress and Bishop are primarily renowned for their involvement in the great live music scene that Birmingham has to boast with their collective of events and local bands on show. Host to live gigs no less than every week, pub regulars and out of towners can revel in the venue's downstairs Sunday Sessions or weekend DJ nights for their fill of great local music.
