Bringing Birmingham a laid-back evening of brilliant live music and chat, Tom Peel and Northsidestudios will be showcasing an evening called Oration at the Church Inn this September. Offering the venue's humble stage to a number of rising stars, the likes of Mellow Peaches, James Summerfield and Ruth Owens will be showing off their musical talents, playing all of their biggest tracks and most popular hits. To get a few wheels turning in your head, Dr Caroline Tagg will be delivering a lecture on the Language of Text and Social Media. Thought-provoking and serene, this is one event well worth seeing.
