If luscious decor and themed bars in Birmingham do it for you, The Lost and Found will do it for you too. Basing their cocktails around the adventures of Victorian explorer Hettie G. Watson, this quirky bar have delved into the history books for their cool concoctions. Now we're all for using pepper to season our grub, but what about our cocktails? The Lost and Found are open to all sorts of weird ad wonderful ideas and their cocktails are no exception.

'Ginge's Orange Cream' - Ginger's

Known for their unique one-offs and teasers such as a roast dinner themed cocktail using mint sauce and other such meaty assets, Ginger's take mixology in their stride. Consider it's summer, we chose something overtly fruity for our quirky list.....presenting, the Ginge Orange Cream. If this doesn't cover your five a day and more, we don't know what will!

'The Fluffer' - The Jekyll and Hyde


It was hard to pick a peculiar cocktail from The Jekyll and Hyde's menu due to the fact that there are so many! From ceramic bathtub sharers to cocktails that promise to last you the duration of an hour, The Jekyll and Hyde are at the top of their mixology game. Now enough of the spiel, we chose The Fluffer for our feature not only because it sounds, smells and tastes so scrummy, but because it has popping candy guys.... POPPING CANDY!

'Round of Applause' - Island Bar

It seems that Birmingham's only tiki-bar, Island Bar, have gotten to the very core of weird and wonderful cocktails with this one. If you take heed of 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away' then this is the cocktail for you. Predominantly apple based and conjured up by their very own cocktail boffins, this drink goes to show what tailor made treats this cocktail bar in Birmingham have in store.

'Ocean Colour Scream' - The Prince of Wales

Not home to one, but two cocktail lounges, The Prince of Wales is a cool pub in Moseley that attracts punters from all Birmingham round to savour their concoctions. Now you all know that we love a good pun, so how could we resist a cocktail named after Midlands legends themselves, Ocean Colour Scream. Plus, a bought of their own home-made grog? It's got to be worth a try!
