For The Love of Lou at TALK Bar

Don your tight fitting black t-shirts and swing a leather jacket round your neck for TALK's Lou Reed remembrance party this November.

Fans of Velvet Underground and those with a penchant for belting out 'Take a Walk on the Wild Side' whilst driving down broody country lanes were saddened this week to hear that infamous Rock'n'Roll musician Lou Reed passed away. A man that integrated into music like many others daren't dream to, Lou Reed is said to have influenced fanciful music makers the globe over.

But don't get too bogged down my music's loss, because TALK in Birmingham City centre fancied seeing lovely Lou off in party style. A farewell to the man of the moment, TALK invite indie kids and Reed renegades for a night of remembrance as they play two back to cack Lou Reed albums in their entirety. Not only free entry, it's fancy dress too where see-er off-er's are encouraged to don their best Lou Reed or Andy Warhol outfits for the night this Friday November 1st.
