Welcome to the very first Big Phill's Film Night. An event run by movie lovers for movie lovers. I have been fortunate enough to work in the film industry over the last few years and I have an insatiable thirst for films.
As a result I will be running a monthly film night at the amazing Mockingbird Theatre and Bar, and will be showing films from a wide variety of genres and no night will be the same. Films like Intouchable, Leon, Black Swan and many more will be shown throughout the year in this amazing venue.
Alongside this, we will have special guests that work within the film industry to give you a small insight into how some of your favourite films were made. The first night kicks off on the 8th April and it gives me great pleasure to announce the film that will kick off Big Phill's Film Night will be The Raid.
Released in 2011, director Gareth Evans created a masterpiece that took the world by storm. This is an unrelenting thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

We also have a very special guest that will be attending in the form of Nick McKinless. He is a stunt man, director and actor, and has been in some of the biggest movies from the last few decades. He has worked on Movies such as Captain America Edge of Tomorrow and Fast and Furious and many more to boot. Alongside this, his extensive knowledge of strength and fitness has seen him train actors such as Ralph Fiennes and Brad Pitt to ensure that they are in peak shape to meet the physical requirements that some of the movie roles they have taken demand.
He will be bringing along his award winning short movie Faith for all in attendance to see. It has been doing the rounds in Film Festivals around the world and blowing each and every mind as it does so.
There may be another special guest in attendance, but you will have to come along to see who that is :-) Tickets are going fast so act quickly to get yourself in the audience for this special event.
